SAN ANTONIO—Texas business executive Weston Martinez, a member of the Texas Real Estate Commission, has joined the Patel Gaines law firm as vice president of business development. Martinez brings the firm a wealth of knowledge and a track record of achievement in commercial real estate, oil and gas, telecom, water, land use issues, zoning and public policy matters.

DALLAS—Arnold Brothers, a locally owned dry cleaning and laundry business, is now open at Sylvan | Thirty. Arnold Brothers provides a pick-up and delivery service, plus a dedicated parking spot for drop off.

HOT SPRINGS, AR—HREC Investment Advisors arranged the sale of the 150-guestroom Clarion on the Lake. The buyer was a regional hotel owner/operator. Kevin Hanley, senior vice president in HREC Investment Advisors’ Washington DC office and Patrick Culligan, principal in the Memphis office, exclusively represented the seller during the transaction.

HOUSTON—Lee & Associates-Houston has been selected by Aramco Services Company, the US-based subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, to be the exclusive leasing agent of 9009 West Loop South, a 419,260-square-foot office building located in the Bellaire submarket. Lee & Associates–Houston’s Lee Jeane, director, and Chris Lewis, managing principal, will lead the strategic marketing efforts on behalf of the ownership.

HOUSTON—NAI Partners recently represented Lorance & Thompson PC in a 21,263-square-foot office renewal, located in Brookhollow Central II at 2900 North Loop West. Dan Boyles and Liz Westcott-Brown of NAI Partners represented tenant Lorance & Thompson PC and Brian Strait of Lincoln Property Company represented the landlord, Parmenter Brookhollow LLC during the negotiations.

HOUSTON—NAI Partners recently represented Encore Search Partners LLC in a 5,330-square-foot office lease, located at 14511 Old Katy Rd. Dan Boyles and Mike Mannella of NAI Partners represented the tenant, Encore Search Partners, while the landlord, Bernstein-Perwien Properties, was represented by Mikel Leff during the negotiations.

HOUSTON—Lee & Associates–Houston represented Budget Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. in an 11,878-square-foot industrial lease in the Westgate Service Center, which is located at 19407 Park Row Drive in the Energy Corridor. Cameron Hicks and Robert McGee of Lee & Associates–Houston represented the tenant, and the landlord, Whitestone Industrial-Office LLC, represented itself in-house with Andy Parrish.

HOUSTON—Lee & Associates–Houston represented EK Rankin LLC in the sale of a 12,000-square-foot industrial building in Rankin Business Park located at 13620 Gillman Park. SUGAR LAND, TX—Lee & Associates–Houston represented Fenomen Trade Int. LLC in the sale of 1.52 acres in the Sugar Land Business Park, near US Route 90 Alternate and Southwest Fwy. Cameron Hicks and Preston Yaggi of Lee & Associates–Houston represented the buyer and NM Management LLC represented the seller, DNY Investments LLC.

TULSA—CBRE Capital Markets’ Investment Properties announces the sale of Town West Shopping Center. Austin, TX-based Freestar Investments LLC purchased the 162,396-square-foot shopping center from Tulsa-based Case and Associates for $4.1 million. Highly visible from Interstate 44, Town West Shopping Center is located at the intersection of South 49th West Avenue and West Skelly Drive. The property was 93% leased at the time of sale to a mix of national and regional tenants, including Big Lots, Dollar General, Harbor Freight Tools and National Coatings & Supplies.
