Jack Moody

Jack Moody joined the Baker Katz team in July 2024 as Director of Acquisitions — where he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and performing due diligence of new retail acquisitions in major Texas markets and nurturing the firm’s capital partner relationships. Jack also supports the investment team with financial analysis, analyzing Baker Katz’s portfolio of fund assets, and perparing market research to support and expand the greater investment strategy of the company.

Prior to starting at Baker Katz, Jack was an investment sales associate with JLL Capital Markets where he was involved in over $1.6 billion in commercial real estate transactions in Houston.

He graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in finance in May 2020. Jack is also a committee member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo: Breeders Greeters Committee.

In his spare time, Jack enjoys traveling, golfing, hunting and spending time with family.
