Jennifer Ramirez

Having joined the Baker Katz team while the firm was still in its infancy, Jennifer has witnessed the organic growth, and is truly a utility player for the firm. From day-to-day accounting responsibilities and managing travel and schedules for the team to maintaining office operations and serving as the liaison with all vendors, she plays a critical role in ensuring the firm runs smoothly and clients are satisfied.

Prior to joining Baker Katz, Jennifer served as a commercial escrow assistant with Chicago Title Insurance Company, where she served as the liaison between the commercial closer and vice president and a wide array of real estate professionals, including buyers, investors, sellers, builders, legal counsel and brokers. She regularly worked on multi-million dollar transactions, and handled preparations and communications for individual deals with up to 20 investors involved.

Jennifer studied at the University of Houston. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, and her family, including four siblings. She is a huge animal lover, and has rescued six dogs. She also volunteers annually for the Helms Elementary School Navidad en El Barrio Christmas program.
