Movers: Carter Bechtol to Triten; Jon Farris to Stream Realty

Lee & Associates acquires Commercial Resource Capital in Houston

Triten Real Estate Partners hired industry veteran Carter Bechtol as partner and head of Triten Residential. He will oversee the firms’ multifamily holdings, including sourcing developments and acquisitions. He joins the firm from Stanmore Partners. He has led the development of 8,000 apartment units valued at $1.8 billion across Texas, California, North Carolina and Missouri.

Stream Realty Partners named Jon Farris as vice chairman in its Houston office, where he will work alongside Tyler Maner, managing director of industrial occupier services and landlord representation. Farris joins the firm from CBRE.

JLL added three executives to its Dallas-Fort Worth offices. Jayme Schutt was named senior vice preside of workplace strategy, in charge of office leasing, in the Dallas office. She is returning to JLL after a stint at Stream Realty Partners. Maggie Georgieva is joining the Fort Worth office as a senior general manager, moving stateside from JLL in London. Mike Allen is also joining the Fort Worth office as vice president on the retail team, leaving Weitzman.
JLL also recently added Ed Bovermann as regional managing director of its property management group in Houston and New Orleans. He previously worked at Hines and Transwestern and has managed 5 million square feet of office properties in Houston’s central business district.

Partners Real Estate hired Kyle Knox as managing director and Clint Gandy as senior vice president to its Valuation Advisory services in Dallas. Knox has 30 years of experience in the field and both are moving from Colliers.

Houston-based Lee & Associates, a notional commercial real estate firm, has acquired Commercial Resource Capital. The acquisition means Lee & Associates will expand its services to include financial advisory and investment brokerage. “We’ve working with them for decades and know our values and visions align,” said Jason Dannatt, who is now head of capital markets for Lee & Associates.

Landsea Homes Corporation appointed Will Grimes as vice president of sales and marketing for the company’s Dallas-Forth Worth division. He joined the firm from Farmers Branch-based Mattamy Homes and previously worked at Lennar Homes DFW. California-based Landsea entered the Texas market earlier this year when it acquired Dallas-based Antares Homes.

Houston-based commercial real estate firm Baker Katz hired Jack Moody as director of acquisitions. Moody previously worked at JLL Capital Markets and has closed over $1.6 billion worth of transactions in Houston, according to a news release.
