Retail wrap: Buff Burger, Sweet Paris, Russo’s NY Pizzeria, Zero Degrees get new locations

BuffBurger, a burger restaurant launched by Paul and Sara Burden in 2015, plans to open a location this fall in the CityWest Retail Center, 10550 Westheimer, in west Houston. Other locations are at 1014 Wirt Road in the Memorial area and 1540 Alabama in Montrose.

Houston-based Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café plans to open three San Antonio locations beginning in late 2019. Upcoming Houston openings include The Woodlands, Highland Village and Baybrook.

Russo’s New York Pizzeria has opened in Pearland Town Center. The 2,900-square-foot store at 11200 Broadway joins more than 20 additional Russo’s restaurants in the Houston market and is the second area location operated by franchisee Sam Farouz.

Zero Degrees, an Asian-Hispanic fusion chain selling drinks and snacks, has leased 1,800 square feet at 9473 FM 1960 Bypass Road at Townsen Boulevard in Humble. Walker Kane with Weitzman represented the tenant.

Houston-based Williamsburg Enterprises has purchased the 6,220-square-foot Outback Steakhouse on 2 acres at 20455 Katy Freeway near Fry Road in the Katy area. Jason Baker and Lunden McGill of Baker Katz represented the seller, Outback Steakhouse. Jonas Fertitta represented Williamsburg Enterprises in-house. Outback Steakhouse relocated to 24600 Katy Freeway.

Royalty Dental Associates has purchased a 1.5-acre site on Longenbaugh Drive near Barker Cypress Road in the Cypress area northwest of Houston for a medical office development. J.J. McDermott of NewQuest Properties represented the seller, Cypress 1999 Ltd. The buyer of record, RF Hamada LLC, was represented by Maher Moukarim of Capital Heights Properties. The buyer plans to develop a 10,000- to 12,000-square-foot medical office project, NewQuest Properties said. Royalty Dental Associates will occupy part of the building and offer the rest for lease to another medical services provider.

Speech and Motion Therapy has leased 1,500 square feet at the Lexington Village Shopping Center, 15510 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land. Melissa Gerber Brams of Gerber Realty represented the landlord, CBS Lexington Center. Quoc Cao of Re/Max Fine Properties represented the tenant.

Akashi Asian Bistro and Sushi Bar has leased 3,999 square feet at the Shops at Chasewood Park, 20330 Texas 249. Jonathan Aron represented the landlord, Hunington Properties.

Alonso & de Leef has leased 1,050 square feet at 1201 Telephone Road. Jeff Fralick and Rick Gutierrez of Retail Solutions represented the landlord.

X Dance Studio has leased 3,480 square feet at 5901 Hillcroft. Jason Gibbons and Amy Rienstra with Finial Group represented the landlord.
