HOUSTON—Baker Katz acquired a property last year with plans to revamp the property into a multi-tenant destination. The property is located at the intersection of I-10 East and Haden Road in a highly trafficked business and ship channel area.
Construction is now underway on the 8,000-square-foot building that is 100% leased to AT&T, Frost Bank and Chipotle. The project is slated for completion this July, with tenants slated to open in fall 2016.
Baker Katz co-founder and principal Kenneth Katz tells GlobeSt.com: “When we purchased this property last year, we knew it was well-suited for redevelopment. We’re excited to complete the revamping of the property and bring in three strong tenants to serve the local community.”
Founded in December 2004, Baker Katz is a full-service retail brokerage firms specializing in tenant representation for some of the retail industry’s top national chains. The company is an X Team International partner that focuses on investment sales, and project development and leasing.
“We are excited to have a strong tenant mix prepared to open upon completion of the building,” said Katz. “We knew this property had great potential when we decided to repurpose the site, and that potential was confirmed when three strong tenants signed early on in project development.”
