Houston’s first Snooze, an A.M. Eatery leases space on Montrose

Space has been leased for Houston’s first-ever Snooze, an A.M. Eatery restaurant, commercial real estate firm Baker Katz announced.

Snooze is a Denver-based restaurant chain founded in 2006. The restaurant brands itself as serving “creative twists” on classic American breakfast foods and donates 1 percent of its sales to local community causes through in-kind goods and services. Snooze restaurants have been established across Colorado, California and in Arizona.

The Houston restaurant will occupy a 3,723-square-foot property at 3217 Montrose Blvd., according to Baker Katz.

The lease was completed on Tuesday. The property’s landlord was represented by WestMont Partners, LLC.

“Snooze is unlike any restaurant ever to open in Houston and we are excited the brand is expanding and seeking growth opportunities in our area,” said Jason Baker, co-founder and principal with Baker Katz, in an announcement. “The high-energy, vibrant atmosphere along with the unique breakfast menu is something the community will really enjoy.”

The location is scheduled to open in early 2016.
